Washington D.C.

Semester in Washinton D.C

This Fall 2009 semester, I am entrenched in a journey through the bastion of perceived power of our time: studying in Washington D.C.

USCapitol

I am studying with the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) American Studies Program (ASP), more information at www.bestsemester.com/asp.

As the semester progresses, my adventures will be documented here. Some highlights I am anticipating include

  • Universities/Graduate School visits
  • Interesting and thought provoking lessons learned
  • Historical site seeing
  • and plenty of things political

Check here regularly for updates! I would also appreciate any suggestions on things to do and visit while I am on the east coast.

D.C. is a very amazing place to stay for an extended period of time! I know you will learn a great deal, and even teach some a few things :) btw…be sure to go to Mt. Vernon (George Washington’s home) just past the northern border of Virginia since it’s pretty close to D.C.; it’s an awesome site to visit.
